HATEBREED UNLEASH CRUSHING TITLE TRACK “FATAL PARADOX” AHEAD OF NEW ALBUM

Nearly three decades after helping shape the sound of modern metallic hardcore, Hatebreed still sounds like they could flatten a room.

The GRAMMY-nominated Connecticut hardcore legends are back with “Fatal Paradox,” the title track from their upcoming ninth studio album, Fatal Paradox, out November 6 via BLKIIBLK. The new track arrives with an official visualizer and follows the previously released “Kill Count Increase.”

At just 2:42, “Fatal Paradox” gets in, throws hands, and gets the hell out. It’s all chugging riffs, thick groove, d-beat aggression, and, because this is Hatebreed, a breakdown built to turn a venue floor into absolute chaos. Jamey Jasta’s bark still hits with the same conviction that has powered the band for decades, while the rest of Hatebreed does what they’ve always done best: deliver blunt-force heaviness with zero wasted motion.

And honestly, that’s the beauty of Hatebreed. Nobody presses play on a Hatebreed song hoping they suddenly got really into synth-pop. You come here for riffs. You come here for breakdowns. You come here for lyrics that make you feel like you could punch through a brick wall and somehow come out more emotionally well-adjusted on the other side.

The track is the latest preview of the band’s 11-song ninth album and their first full-length since 2020’s Weight of the False Self. For Fatal Paradox, Hatebreed once again teamed up with longtime producer Chris “Zeuss” Harris, continuing a creative partnership behind some of the band’s most recognizable work.

There are a few curveballs waiting deeper in the record, too. Obituary vocalist John Tardy appears on “Sacrifice Season,” and the album closes with Hatebreed taking on Corrosion of Conformity’s “Poison Planet.” Elsewhere, titles like “The Carrion Choir,” “Total Invincible,” and “Truth Is A Lion” suggest Fatal Paradox will keep bouncing between hardcore, thrash, and the kind of metallic stomp Hatebreed has spent decades turning into a weapon.

The new music also lands while Hatebreed is doing what Hatebreed arguably does best: bringing the carnage to the stage.

The band is currently headlining the second leg of The Summer Slaughter Tour, joined by Terror, Incantation, Gates To Hell, Torture, and Creeping Death. The run continues through September, taking Hatebreed across the U.S. and Canada. Click HERE for tickets!
