GOOSE PARK’S SECOND SINGLE “LATELY” IS DANGEROUSLY ADDICTIVE

Goose Park wowed us all with their first single, which dropped back in January. Though that was only a few months ago, their growth shows through their second drop, “Lately.” They put everything they have into their work, a treat for listeners as we watch their journey from the beginning. 

“Lately” is more of a punk-rock ballad, calling back to older styles that haven’t been explored much since the 2000s. This is a welcomed effort, as the callback is refreshing to hear. It is always nice to hear bands refer back to their roots, and though we are just getting started with Goose Park, they have very clear points of reference.

It is fascinating, from a music enjoyer’s perspective, to hear what other geographical locations are doing sonically. Goose Park’s sound is familiar but new, exploring sounds that I am less familiar with and eager to enjoy. They are off to an incredible start!
