“ENDLESS ROMANCE” WILL KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF

One word - wow.

I’m blown away by the quality of “Endless Romance” by Superdays, from the production to the vocals. It is truly unique.

From the guitar intro, I immediately knew this song would be a banger. I wasn’t expecting the vocals for some reason. I feel like you don’t often hear this deep, brooding voice with airy melodies like this. Which is such a shame, because the pairing is honestly beautiful. It provides a perfect contrast that has a significant impact.

That guitar tune is everything. Every instrument complements the others instantly, reminding me of the dreamy atmosphere of Cocteau Twins and vocals that evoke The Long Faces. Such a blissful song that sounds perfect for a nice picnic

Lyrically, the tune is straightforward and explores hardship. I think this song is about looking for perfection in a relationship, or just in general. At the end of the day, what you’re searching for is unobtainable because perfection does not exist in nature. By the time you realize that it’s a facade, the relationship is slipping away because the focus was on the thing that didn’t exist.

The shoegaze, post-punk, and dream pop influences in this song create a really soothing combination of sounds.

Check this out, seriously. I can see this track or Superdays blowing up in the future.
