CATCH YOUR BREATH TURN THE PRESSURE UP WITH NEW SINGLE “BLOOD MONEY”
The third single in as many months from the Austin, Texas four-piece Catch Your Breath indicates that they’re definitely up to something.
Even with one of those drops being a collab with Ekoh, the band has been everywhere since their return late last year, and their latest single “Blood Money” feels like the clearest statement yet. It’s aggressive, focused, and fueled by that all-too-familiar feeling of being pushed too far. Sometimes you don’t ask for what’s yours. You take it.
As vocalist Josh Mowery puts it, “You can’t take what was never yours. ‘Blood Money’ is for anyone who’s been pushed to the edge by the people who tried to own them. We’re done staying quiet while you profit off our pain. See you at the throne.”
The track hits with massive melodic weight before snapping into a breakdown that doesn’t hold back. It’s confrontational, chaotic, and built to leave a mark.
And they’re not slowing down anytime soon. Catch Your Breath are stacking a serious run this summer, with festival appearances at Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple in May, followed by headline runs in Australia and Japan. From there it’s a full-on gauntlet: Rock For People, Nova Rock, Download, Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Summer Punch, Jera On Air, and Impericon Festival, plus support slots with Three Days Grace and We Came As Romans.
It’s a relentless schedule, and honestly, it matches the energy of the song.
“Blood Money” is out now via Thriller Records.
