SWEET PILL SHARE NEW SINGLE “SLOW BURN” FROM UPCOMING ALBUM STILL THERE’S A GLOW

Punk-leaning rock band Sweet Pill has shared their newest single, “Slow Burn,” offering another look into their already announced upcoming album, Still There’s a Glow, set for release on March 13, 2026, via Hopeless Records. The track is accompanied by an official music video that visually amplifies the song’s underlying tension and emotional unrest.

“Slow Burn” finds Sweet Pill blending melodic restraint with their punk-rooted intensity. Built around dynamic shifts, urgent vocals, and emotionally charged lyricism, the song explores distance, paranoia, and the quiet unraveling of connection. It simmers rather than explodes, allowing the band’s punk sensibilities to surface through urgency and tone rather than speed alone.

The music video mirrors that pressure. Set in part within a photography darkroom, the visuals lean into shadow and contrast, reflecting the song’s introspective edge. The video also follows lead singer Zayna Youssef as she runs through town under the watchful eye of surveillance cameras, creating a lingering sense of exposure and unease that aligns with the track’s themes.

Still There’s a Glow represents the next step in Sweet Pill’s evolution, further solidifying their ability to merge punk rock urgency with emotional depth and melodic clarity. With “Slow Burn,” the band continues to prove that vulnerability and intensity can coexist without compromise.

Watch the video for “Slow Burn” now, and look for Still There’s a Glow when it arrives March 13 via Hopeless Records.
