Upon arriving at 1720 by the time doors opened, there was a line of enthusiastic fans wrapped around the corner of the street for Car, the Garden, a Korean pop rock band that has taken the Korean indie rock world by storm.
The warehouse was filled with a very respectful audience who enjoyed Jessica Domingo's solo opening set preparing them for a good night to be had. She sang, played her acoustic guitar, and serenaded them with her soothing voice and RnB-influenced music.
When Car, the Garden got onstage, the crowd lit up and gave the band the energy they needed for a great set. The venue's lighting was perfect for the band's sound and gave me lots of opportunities to get solid shots of them having a memorable time with their loving fans.
The Car rocked the stage during their hour-long set and seemed to have a good time sharing the night with everyone. It was such a pleasure getting to see how they were impacting the fans in the front row in particular, so I had a lot of fun being able to capture those special moments. You could see the love in the audience's eyes throughout the night so it was a great night to have experienced at 1720.
