AU GRES RELEASES WHOLEHEARTED INDIE DEBUT “NERVOUS”
Au Gres, aka the brainchild of Joshua Kemp, exists to change your perspective of the ever-changing indie-pop genre. Au Gres has now released his debut single titled “Nervous” blending elements of indie, lo-fi, and synth-pop to craft a soothing record perfect for some afternoon easy listening.
Speaking on his first release, Joshua stated via Instagram that “Nervous is about allowing yourself to be vulnerable. It’s awfully fitting as releasing music often feels vulnerable to me, but some of the best things happen when we let ourselves to be vulnerable."
“Nervous” is deeply honest and modestly produced, featuring shimmering electric guitar, lo-fi drums, sparkling synths, and strummed acoustic guitar to create a dreamy indie soundscape. Au Gres’s debut is beautifully heartfelt with Kemp's lyricism touching on the formation of deeper connections through honesty and vulnerability.
