KNEECAP DROP FIERCE NEW “SAYŌNARA” REMIXES FEATURING SHERELLE AND PAUL HARTNOLL (ORBITAL)
Irish rap provocateurs KNEECAP are back with another dose of chaos and brilliance—this time in the form of two brand-new remixes for their rave-fueled anthem “Sayōnara.” Originally crafted alongside Paul Hartnoll of the legendary electronic duo Orbital, the track has already been making waves across clubs and festivals for its blend of wild Irish lyricism and pounding dancefloor energy. Now, it’s been given a whole new life.
The remixes drop fresh off the heels of the band’s October 10th Bandcamp live stream, which was broadcast directly into King’s Theatre, Brooklyn for a one-night-only event that blurred the lines between underground rave and political art performance.
Leading the charge is none other than SHERELLE, the UK’s reigning queen of high-octane breakbeats and footwork chaos. Her remix doesn’t just rework the song—it detonates it. Using the original’s full vocal as a backbone, SHERELLE injects the track with her signature blend of blistering drums, warped acid lines, and club energy that borders on the unhinged. It’s the kind of remix that could turn a warehouse into a warzone—in the best way possible.
“It’s an honor to remix for Kneecap and this was really fun for me to do,” SHERELLE said. “I saw the boys at Primavera and instantly felt their energy throughout, so it really inspired me for the remix. Big up to the boys for getting me involved. I am very much in awe of what they are doing at the moment and I love when people stand on business!”
Between SHERELLE’s high-speed club energy and Hartnoll’s rave-inspired production, “Sayōnara” continues to evolve into something far bigger than just another single—it’s a movement, a statement, and a sonic middle finger that bridges generations of underground music.
If you thought Kneecap were done pushing boundaries, think again. The “Sayōnara” remixes are streaming now, ready to shake dancefloors and disrupt airwaves all over the world.
