A.M. ARCHITECT CREATIVELY BUILDS AN AMBIENT AND EXPERIMENTAL TRACK OF MUSIC IN “ELI”

The artsy video accompanying the instrumental track, “Eli,” is probably the best artsy video I’ve seen in years. Some abstract shapes and colors go in and out to the indie electronic beats of the moody single as it plays. The IDM glitch sound is characterized by a pastiche of pulsating, throbbing beats and twitchy, grainy loops.

Diego Chavez and Daniel Standish comprise A.M. Architect and are longtime friends behind the visuals and audio they perform and have created.

A.M. Architect is comparable to other artists in a similar vein, including Burial, Shigeto, and Benga.

The duo have a full-length album on February 7th titled ‘Avenir.’ It will be interesting to hear what they come up with on a fully realized LP, but for now, enjoy the sonic dissonance of “Eli.” If you’re a fan of electronic music, you’ll love what A.M. Architect has put together on “Eli.”
