South London outfit Ain’t have released their latest single, “Jude,” a track that delves into introspection and overthinking, blending elements of post-punk and shoegaze. The song is part of their upcoming limited edition 7” vinyl, Pirouette / Jude, set to be released on June 13 via Fear Of Missing Out Records.
“Jude” showcases the band's evolution into darker, more atmospheric territory. Recorded with producer Theo Verney, known for his work with English Teacher and Lime Garden, the track features looping guitar lines and a restrained rhythm section that build into a fuzz-heavy chorus. Vocalist Hanna Baker Darch's lyrics explore the psychological weight of over-analysis and indecision.
The song is accompanied by a lyric video composed of live performance footage, highlighting the band's dynamic stage presence.
Ain’t will be performing live in support of the release, with a headline show at London's Waiting Room on June 12, followed by dates in Brighton and London in July.
“Jude” is available for streaming now, and the limited edition vinyl can be pre-ordered through Bandcamp.
