Wet Leg has shared a new remix of “mangetout,” reimagined by The Dare, giving the track a sharper, club-leaning edge just as the band’s momentum continues to build globally.
Originally driven by Wet Leg’s wiry guitars and sly delivery, “mangetout” takes on a darker, more kinetic feel in The Dare’s hands. The remix leans heavily on rhythm and atmosphere, thickening the low end and pushing the track firmly toward the dance floor without stripping away its attitude. It feels tighter, punchier, and designed for packed rooms after midnight.
The rework arrives during a major year for Wet Leg. The band is currently nominated for two Brit Awards categories: Group Of The Year and Alternative / Rock Act, further cementing their place at the forefront of modern alternative music. This summer, they’ll bring that energy stateside with festival appearances at Coachella, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, and more.
With The Dare’s remix, Wet Leg proves their songs can flex across genres without losing identity. “mangetout” now exists in two distinct forms, each with its own pull. The remix is available to stream now. Watch the music video below:
