Deathwish Inc. has officially welcomed one of heavy music's most exciting new projects. WRONG MAN, featuring members of Oathbreaker, Partisan, and Rise And Fall, have announced their debut full-length, Here's That Feeling, arriving September 11. Alongside the announcement, the band has unveiled the album's blistering lead single, “Exit Strategy,”featuring Jeremy Bolm of Touché Amoré.
While the pedigree behind WRONG MAN is undeniable, “Exit Strategy” proves the band is far more than the sum of their parts. Blending the urgency of hardcore, the weight of post-metal, and the emotional charge of post-hardcore, the track is a relentless display of controlled aggression. Crushing riffs, pummeling drums, and an ever-present sense of tension create an atmosphere that refuses to let up.
Jeremy Bolm's guest appearance feels like a natural extension of the song rather than a novelty. His unmistakable vocal delivery adds another layer of emotion to an already explosive performance, elevating the track without overshadowing the band's identity.
Here's That Feeling marks the first full-length statement from WRONG MAN and arrives backed by one of heavy music's most respected independent labels. With members who helped shape the sound of modern hardcore through bands like Oathbreaker, Partisan, and Rise And Fall, expectations are understandably high—but “Exit Strategy” suggests the group is carving out a lane entirely its own.
The partnership with Deathwish Inc. feels like a natural fit. Known for championing boundary-pushing heavy music, the label has built its reputation on artists who refuse to be confined by genre, and WRONG MAN continue that tradition with a sound that's as emotionally gripping as it is sonically devastating.
Here's That Feeling arrives September 11 via Deathwish Inc., while “Exit Strategy,” featuring Jeremy Bolm, is available now on all major streaming platforms.
