Even in death, Motörhead doesn’t slow down.

The legendary rock and roll juggernaut just unleashed a new single and video for “Leavin’ Here,” pulled from their forthcoming collection The Manticore Tapes—and it’s everything you’d want from a band that made chaos their calling card. Loud. Fast. Zero compromise.

Originally written by Eddie Holland and covered by everyone from The Who to Pearl Jam, Motörhead’s take on “Leavin’ Here” is pure Lemmy-fueled thunder. It’s got that no-frills, speed-freak grit, the kind of riff-driven ferocity that makes you want to drive 100 MPH with one middle finger in the air. Phil Campbell shreds with his usual venom, and Mikkey Dee hits the drums like he’s still trying to break the damn kit. And Lemmy? His voice still sounds like it was carved out of whiskey and gravel.

The video is a blast of nostalgia and attitude—cut with classic live footage, unseen studio clips, and a roaring tribute to the band’s eternal outlaw spirit. It’s both a love letter and a gut-punch reminder that even though Lemmy’s gone, Motörhead’s fire hasn’t gone out. Not even close.

The Manticore Tapes, out June 27th, promises to be a deep-dive into the vaults—a curated set of unreleased tracks, demos, and alternate takes that offer a raw, unfiltered look at one of the most iconic bands to ever rip up a stage. If “Leavin’ Here” is any indication, it’s not just a posthumous cash-in—it’s a celebration of everything Motörhead stood for: volume, venom, and never backing down. Click HERE to preorder!

Press play. Crank it up. Lemmy lives.
