WARGASM SIGN WITH HOPELESS RECORDS AND UNLEASH EXPLOSIVE NEW SINGLE
London's Wargasm have officially joined the Hopeless Records roster, marking a major milestone in the duo's rapidly growing career. Announced on July 29, the signing places Milkie Way and Sam Matlock alongside a stacked artist roster that includes Neck Deep, Scene Queen, and Sum 41.
Formed in 2018, Wargasm have spent the past several years carving out their own lane by fusing heavy rock, industrial, EDM, and punk into an impossible-to-ignore sound. Named after the 1992 L7 track of the same name, the duo first gained traction with a string of singles before releasing their debut EP, Lapdance, in 2020. Their first full-length album, Venom, arrived in 2023 and further established them as one of the UK's most exciting heavy acts.
Coinciding with the announcement is the release of "Get Down," the band's first single under Hopeless Records. The track is pure Wargasm, blending crushing guitar riffs, pulsating electronic production, and explosive energy into a song built to shake festival stages and packed clubs alike.
From its thunderous opening riff to its dancefloor-ready breakdowns, "Get Down" perfectly captures the duo's signature style. Equal parts industrial chaos and rave anthem, it's the kind of song that begs to be played at maximum volume. Imagine getting ready for a night out with this blasting through your speakers, or better yet, hearing it echo through the walls of Berlin's legendary Berghain.
With a major label behind them and a new North American tour on the horizon, Wargasm are poised for their biggest chapter yet. If "Get Down" is any indication, the duo isn't slowing down anytime soon.
