Virginia-based indie rock duo Vacation Manor show off their softer side in their contemplative new single “You”.

“You” sees Nathan Towles and Cole Young unplug for a moment, swapping their electric to acoustic and drum sticks for brushes in creating a warm and gentle soundtrack for an apologetic lover. They say, "Writing this song was such a refreshing and exciting experience. We got to cite so many influences, while still making something that felt fresh and original. During the recording of ‘You,’ there were so many golden moments where ideas were steadily and freely flowing, and once we stepped back from it, we realized we had a song that's quite special." 

Well, there is certainly something a little hypnotizing about the new record, it's soft atmospheric timbre mixed with the sound of Nathan’s vocal tone and lyrical earworms crafts a truly soothing feel. Perfect for a pensive Autumn evening. The new single is to be featured on the duo’s upcoming 2021 album along with a multitude of tunes released by the pair this year including title track “Thoughts In Progress”.
