UNRELENTING ENERGY AND PASSION DOMINATE AT THE GLASS HOUSE IN POMONA

Pomona’s crisp night air created the perfect atmosphere for an electrifying evening at The Glass House, marking my first time capturing the energy within its walls. The lineup featured four dynamic bands, each bringing a unique sound and presence to the stage.

Kicking off the night was If Not For Me, a powerhouse hailing from Central Pennsylvania. Their performance ignited the crowd, setting a high-energy tone right from the start. The band’s intensity resonated through the venue, making for an impressive opening set. Their synergy on stage was undeniable, with each member delivering a performance demonstrating technical skill and raw emotion. The audience was immediately drawn in, reacting enthusiastically to every riff and breakdown.

Following them was a personal favorite—The Funeral Portrait. Known for their theatrical and emotionally charged performances, they delivered a set that captivated the audience. They played fan-favorite tracks, culminating in an explosive rendition of “Suffocate City,” a moment that stood out as a personal highlight of the night. Their stage presence was commanding, engaging with the audience in a way that made the performance feel intimate and larger than life.

Up next was Archers, a band deeply rooted in the metalcore scene. This performance was particularly special, as the band is celebrating a decade of music-making. Their set showcased their longevity and evolution, with the crowd feeding off their raw energy and passion. Their musicianship was on full display, with crushing breakdowns and soaring melodies that had the entire venue moving. The connection between the band and the audience was palpable, a testament to their dedicated fanbase and enduring impact on the scene.

Closing out the night was Catch Your Breath, a band from Austin, Texas, who delivered a powerful finale. The way they combined melodic and heavy elements kept the audience engaged until the very last note, ensuring the night ended on a high note. Their dynamic performance balanced aggression and melody effortlessly, making for an emotional and high-energy closing set. The band’s chemistry was evident, and their infectious energy spread throughout the room, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

The Glass House was an incredible venue for such an electrifying lineup. The lighting and acoustics complemented each band’s performance, enhancing the overall experience. Each band left its mark, making my first time shooting here an unforgettable experience. The night's energy lingered long after the final note, proving once again the power of live music in bringing people together.
