UK'S NEON ISLANDS WANTS TO KEEP THE ROMANCE HOT AND HEAVY WITH NEW SINGLE "MOON"

This Guildford-based Indie rock band wants to keep loving you, no matter what it takes. The clean-cut, sport-coat-wearing foursome know how to keep the romance alive and well. Performing on stages all across the UK, Neon Islands have continued to swoon hearts and sweep audiences off their feet. With shimmering synths, powerful keyboards, and catchy vocal hooks, Neon Islands have set an expectation for their listeners: Before society crumbles, Neon Islands will get everyone dancing. When it comes to their newest single "Moon" they don't disappoint.

"MOON" explores the deep challenges that come from the day-to-day routine of a long-distance relationship", says the band. "The main theme of the song is the confusion generated by the sadness of being apart".

"MOON" is anything but a slow burn. We are hit right away with a stunning introduction that gives you a myriad of iconic sounds that are reminiscent of The Killers. Electronic keyboards, a steady bass line, and the lyrics "She tried to calm the situation/ While you're holding all the guilt of separation" pull you in and force you to reflect on your own relationships. The pre-chorus confesses that perhaps, the distance is beginning to take its toll. "I don't know about you/It's strange that we're becoming strangers so soon". Leading up to a chorus that will have your hands waving in the air, and your heart swelling with internal conviction.

Neon Islands ends the song with that gut-wrenching lyric "I don't know about you" leaving us to question whether or not the relationship is going well. We look forward to seeing them hit the stage again. And maybe if we're lucky, we'll get a wink and glittering smile from a Neon Islands member, making our hearts full again, if only for a moment.
