Dutch singer-songwriter Youri Lentjes had the world in the palm of his hand. Touring some of the country's biggest venues to collaborate with stars and Emmy award winners. But everything went to an abrupt halt when his father was diagnosed with cancer. Lentjes’ life was suddenly filled with "whirring machines, waiting rooms, and fear", the musician says. Youri made sure to journal everything he felt which resulted in a full-band full-length record, made entirely on Youri's phone. "'Aid Kit' is about being the one who has to help", says Lentjes. The song is birthed from Youri's feeling of powerlessness and anger.
