THE MOVING STILLS UNLEASH SUMMER-LONGING ANTHEM "GENE"

From the land down under comes the proficient indie rockers in the band The Moving Stills. Their latest single "Gene” will make your heart crave that relaxed summer breeze and subsequent fruity cocktail.

The track has the DNA of a baby that was birthed by Tame Impala and Foster the People. With an absurdly catchy chorus and guitar riffs for days, the song easily demonstrates its ability to capture your attention and hold it until the summer finally arrives.

Lead singer Mike had this to say about the track: “The song started on a remote island off Sumatra. I was staying with a family in the local village and they had a guitar with one string. It started with the simple little guitar riff and I ended up talking about a girl in a bad relationship.”

Aside from creating ear-pleasing tracks left and right, such as their single “Bad”, the band is slowly but surely making their way onto the global indie rock radar. Don’t lose sight of these gents!
