Lala Lala has announced a new album titled Heaven 2, set for release on February 27 via Sub Pop, alongside the reveal of an upcoming North American tour. To mark the announcement, Lala Lala has also shared two new singles, “Even Mountains Erode” and “Heaven2,” offering contrasting but complementary glimpses into the record’s emotional core.
“Even Mountains Erode” leans into patience and restraint, unfolding with a quiet gravity that lets its weight settle slowly. The track feels reflective and worn-in, built around subtle shifts and an understated sense of endurance. It carries a quiet intensity, focusing less on immediacy and more on the long-term impact of time, distance, and change.

In contrast, “Heaven2” arrives with a sharper edge, feeling more direct and exposed. The song balances vulnerability with resolve, capturing a sense of longing that feels both personal and expansive. Together, the two tracks outline the emotional range of Heaven 2, hinting at a record that explores intimacy, erosion, and resilience through carefully sculpted songwriting.
With Heaven 2, Lala Lala continues to refine a sound rooted in honesty and emotional precision, allowing space, repetition, and texture to do much of the storytelling. The album announcement, paired with a full North American tour, suggests a project built not just to be heard, but to be felt live, where these songs can stretch and resonate in real time.
“Even Mountains Erode” and “Heaven2” are available now on all streaming platforms. Heaven 2 arrives February 27 via Sub Pop, with tour dates across North America to follow.
