TANAYA HARPER’S NEWEST TRACK “CLEO” RUMINATES ON A RELATIONSHIP’S END WITH HEALTHY SELF-AWARENESS

Indie rock singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Tanaya Harper chooses to look within about why a relationship didn’t work for her in “Cleo.” The Australian artist comes up with some insights, such as not seeing things for what they are and coasting on the chemistry you experience with someone rather than the reality of the situation. It’s common for many people to feel that way and not acknowledge your part in keeping something going longer than it should because they feel that spark and physical attraction toward that person. Cleo is Harper’s cat who slept near her at a songwriting retreating while she wrote the song. She creatively seeks musical inspiration from various influences, including folk, indie, and alternative rock on “Cleo.” On October 18th, Tanaya Harper will release her debut LP, “They Have Become Me,” which will expand on relationships and the real challenges of mental health issues.
