Los Angeles, get ready for absolute chaos. System Of A Down have announced a massive headlining show at Pasadena's iconic Rose Bowl Stadium on June 5, 2027, with special guests Pierce the Veil. And here's the kicker: it's their only North American performance scheduled for 2027.

The announcement follows a weekend of mysterious teasers popping up around Los Angeles, sending fans into a frenzy of speculation. The rumors are now official, and Southern California is getting one of its biggest metal shows of the year.

For a band that emerged from the Los Angeles music scene in the 1990s, headlining the Rose Bowl feels like a full-circle moment. The announcement also follows the recent 25th anniversary celebration of their landmark album Toxicity, which included a special Los Angeles exhibition featuring rare memorabilia and artifacts from the record's legendary era.

Despite not releasing a full-length album since 2005's Hypnotize, System Of A Down remain one of the most in-demand live acts in heavy music. Adding San Diego post-hardcore favorites Pierce The Veil to the bill only makes this homecoming even more ridiculous.

Just imagine tens of thousands of fans screaming along to "Chop Suey!," "B.Y.O.B.," and "Toxicity" inside the Rose Bowl. Yeah, this one's going to be special.
