Surf rock's Stray Fossa released their first single "How Come" off their debut full-length album expected to release in April. The entire track was recorded in the band's attic studio at their home in Charlottesville, Virginia. The track includes numerous interlocking guitar parts, two acoustic rhythms, a 12-string pattern, and a synth flute. "How Come" and their record is fused by anxiety and dissolution from the past year. Inter-independence; restlessness; nostalgia and collective memory-challenged Stray Fossa’s strong friendship, but also enhanced their writing process. "How Come" puts you in a perfect spot, lounging in the sun and daydreaming of better things ahead.
