SYDNEY DROPS NEW TRACK “THINGS COULD BE BETTER”

Canadian post-hardcore band Sydney is back, and they’re making it clear that something isn’t sitting right. Their new single, “Things Could Be Better,” taken from the upcoming album Attachments, leans fully into that uneasy feeling and doesn’t let go.

At its core, the track wrestles with the tension of wanting change but not knowing how to get there. It captures that in-between space where frustration builds, where you know something has to shift, but you’re stuck figuring out what the next move even is. Sydney taps into that headspace in a way that feels raw and immediate, pulling the listener into that same restless mindset.

Sonically, it hits hard. The whining, almost desperate vocal delivery paired with aggressive bursts of screaming reinforces the band’s commitment to their punk roots, even decades in. It’s not polished for the sake of it; it’s honest, and that honesty is what drives the track forward.

“Things Could Be Better” is available to stream now, with Attachments on the horizon.
