SUNGAZE DROPS NEW HEARTFELT SINGLE, “FEEL BETTER TOMORROW”

Cincinnati-based band, Sungaze, has gifted us yet another stunning single, “Feel Better Tomorrow”.

This shoegaze, dream-pop, GEM of a song will find you melting into almost 4 minutes of some much needed introspective time to yourself. I promise. Layers and layers of filtered guitars, an absolute ocean of moody reverb, and Ivory’s signature velvety vocals, lull you into that nostalgic, clean, happy/sad state that just feels so good to feel sometimes. There’s something so pretty and so grungy about the combination of Ivory Snow and Ian Hilvert’s influences when they combine worlds for this project, that pulls through to make a unique world of feeling every release. It’s raw and honest, with heartfelt lyrics about the reality of dealing with chronic illness and health anxiety - Snow expressing that her chaotic health journey was a source of anger at one point, “I felt like my chance at realizing my dreams had been taken from me and it was hard not to blame my body.”
