Sofi Gev aka Hannah Lovelady is a solo American singer-songwriter offering a raw, intimate blend of dreamy indie-pop music. Inspired by the likes of Birdy, Agnes Obel and Shara Nova of My Brightest Diamond, Sofi’s artistry is honest, revealing, and delicately powerful. 

Her latest single, “You’re the Star”, is an uplifting and melodic anthem with Hannah sporting layered vocoder-type vocals across a backdrop of a natural-sounding and laid back groove, Rhode-esque keys, and plucky modulated guitar. Hannah introduces the record crooning “there’s a crack in my heart”  lyrically tackling the issues and feelings surrounding an emotionally abusive relationship.

Sofi Gev’s songwriting is deeply profound and mature, painting colourful portraits for her listeners while revealing the intimate sides of a woman confronting the complications of love, life, and relationships.
