SLOWLY SLOWLY KICK THINGS UP A NOTCH WITH UPBEAT EARWORM “HOW ARE YOU MINE?”

Easing out of the throws of melancholia, Slowly Slowly is emerging as a gorgeous butterfly. Their wings are a mosaic of screaming color, encapsulated perfectly in their new single, “How Are You Mine?” This earworm traverses pop perfection unheard since the golden ages, around 2015, when pop and indie crossed over perfectly.

The energy of the song is reminiscent of Walk The Moon deep cuts. It's not entirely “Shut Up And Dance,” but one of the more robust tracks from that record. Some serious gems in there were way ahead of its time. Hopefully, “How Are You Mine?” finds its ideal audience immediately upon release.

Vulnerable lyrics allow the song to contain more depth, maneuvering through catchy choruses while still telling a solid story. Love is a fascinating beast; the way it transforms people is challenging to capture, but Slowly, Slowly’s songwriting does just that.

“How Are You Mine?” can potentially break the group out into the mainstream, especially as winter transitions into spring and people are on a similar vibration to that of the song. Overall, strong vocal ability and harmonies culminate into a killer pop track.
