SLOE NOON’S VIBEY NEW SONG “NEW > OLD” IS PLEASANTLY INTROSPECTIVE

Sloe Noon is providing a unique new voice to the indie rock space. Reminiscent of Hayley Williams’ solo work, “New > Old” encourages listeners to welcome introspection in a healthy way. Nostalgia can heal the soul when consumed in moderation.

Lyrically, “New > Old” is extremely relatable, showcasing common anxieties shared by many. However, what makes this narration fascinating is the vocalist’s commitment to fixing her own problems instead of simply ruminating on them.

For a while, the indie soundscape felt rather repetitive. Artists like Sloe Noon are breaking the mold, embracing creative freedom, and embarking on bold journies. They don’t sound like “the next” anybody, and instead are focused on making room for themselves to stand out–and that’s awesome.

A catchy chorus, clean vocals, and solid guitar riff make “New > Old” memorable. The band has an honest chemistry, and moving forward, they will shine even brighter together.
