SHERWYN UNVEILS NEW SINGLE “OFF YOU” PROVING HIS GENRE IS HIS OWN

Sherwyn kicked off his solo musical career in 2020 releasing a string of impressive singles reinventing funk and rock n roll on his terms. Originally from Nashville and residing in Los Angeles, the talented artist comes off the back of producing tracks for the likes of Duckwrth, The Underachievers, and even Mac Miller (The Mourning After - Macadelic). Ready to tackle 2021 head-on, Sherwyn unveils his new 70’s-inspired single “Off You”.

The newest release successfully continues Sherwyn’s experimental indie-pop mission effortlessly blending new wave funk, hip hop, and indie rock music. The single is slickly produced, coming off almost KAYTRANADA-esque in terms of production, boasting distorted bass tones and a highly energetic percussion-focused dance groove. The infectious groove made in collaboration with Yung Bae and John Ryan is overlaid in true Sherywn fashion mixing pulsating synthesizers, plucky guitar, and last but not least Sherwyn’s unique and refreshing vocal delivery.

“Off You” is a stand-out alternative dance record and one that will hopefully see the already highly credited Sherwyn step further into his merited spotlight.
