SAN DIEGAN SYNTHWAVE GROUP GLASS SPELLS UNVEILS VIDEO FOR "EMPTY ROAD"

Hailing from the quintessential southern California beach city of San Diego comes the next big thing in synthwave. Calling themselves Glass Spells, the three-piece band has set their sights high. Their music is entrancing and will surely stir up a flashback to your retro past (depending on your age). Powerful synths layered with a thriving beat make their music unquenchable.

The band’s latest single titled “Empty Road” is the perfect blend of airy vocals and catchy chords. Take a piece of TR/ST and mash it together with Chvrches and you have yourself this particular banger of a track.

In the recently released music video for “Empty Road”, the landscape of San Diego takes center stage. With Pacific Beach’s iconic roller coaster Giant Dipper intermittently shown in darkness, the ominous vibe is set and the music video delivers. Neon colors accent vocalist Tania Costello’s performance, further adding to the steller synthwave-fueled track.
