SAM FENDER SHARES NEW SONG “WILD LONG LIE” – SECOND TRACK FROM FORTHCOMING ALBUM

Sam Fender is excited to announce the release of “Wild Long Lie,” the second track from his upcoming third album, ‘People Watching’, available through Capitol Records. You can listen to the single HERE.

“Wild Long Lie” offers a twisting folk-rock sound contrasting last month’s anthemic title track, “People Watching.” Accompanied by the bonus track “Me & The Dog,” this new single takes a more reflective and understated approach yet retains its impactful essence.

Sam will launch the North American leg of the People Watching Tour at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre in Vancouver on April 5, 2025. Before that, he will perform a special one-night-only show at Webster Hall in New York City on February 11, 2025. These North American headline shows will give fans a rare chance to experience Fender in more intimate venues. The tour's first leg, which sold out in under an hour, will see him perform in arenas across the UK and Ireland this December, followed by a sold-out European tour in March 2025.

Recently, four stadium dates in the UK for June went on sale, with three nights at Newcastle’s St. James Park already sold out, leading up to Fender’s most significant performance yet at the London Stadium. Remaining tickets for London are available now at www.samfender.com, with CMAT supporting at all four shows and The War on Drugs performing on June 6, 14, and 15.

Sam Fender's third album, People Watching, is set to release on February 21, 2025, via Capitol Records. Now recognized as one of Britain’s most talented songwriters of his generation, if Seventeen Going Under was Sam’s “coming of age” album, People Watching represents his next evolution—filled with vibrant stories and insights about everyday characters leading their often extraordinary lives.

The album was produced by Sam alongside bandmates Dean Thompson and Joe Atkinson over two years, first in London in 2023 with producer Markus Dravs, and then earlier this year in Los Angeles with Adam Granduciel of The War on Drugs.
