“RUNAWAY” BY STAR EMBASSY IS RELENTLESSLY INFECTIOUS AND CATCHY POP GEM

Can a pretty melancholy song lift your spirits and be sad at the same time? This new single, “Runaway,” by the Copenhagen-based duo Star Embassy, does just that. The talented duo has crafted an irresistible pop song that meshes different music sensibilities, including hip-hop and Emo rock, to create a new sonic flavor. The subtle melodic and rhythmic acoustic guitar work is a nice compliment to “Runaway.” The languid vocal delivery underscores the tension and uncertainty of a potential romance.

Overthinking and getting carried away when the feelings hit you strong and in a certain way can easily play into that. I'm not sure what a “Tumblr-esque love poem” is, but love or infatuation is not easily categorized and put into a “neat” box. People have their own unique emotions and ways of processing themselves. Star Assembly isn’t afraid to do that. The duo is brave but utterly human, can be lighthearted, and finds humor when genuinely invested in the outcome.
