SURFACED SIGN TO 1126 RECORDS, DROP “WASTED IN HATRED” VIDEO

Aggression just found its next mouthpiece—Surfaced has officially joined the 1126 Records family and wasted no time showing what they’re made of. The Florida-based metalcore outfit has announced their upcoming EP, Where Angels Fear to Tread, set to arrive August 15, and unleashed a searing new single and video, “Wasted in Hatred.”

And yeah, it rips.

“Wasted in Hatred” isn’t just a song—it’s a full-on sonic demolition. Fueled by blistering riffs, scorched-earth vocals, and breakdowns built to reduce venues to rubble, Surfaced are making one thing brutally clear: they didn’t come to play nice. The track swings with venomous intent, balancing precision with unhinged fury, echoing the raw energy of bands like Knocked Loose and Varials while carving out their own menacing lane.

The accompanying video is just as visceral. Shot with a gritty, underground aesthetic, it captures the band in their element—sweaty, aggressive, and feeding off the chaos. The performance footage pulses with urgency, mirroring the track’s unrelenting energy and lyrical volatility.

Where Angels Fear to Tread promises to be a defining moment for Surfaced—a high-impact statement from a band unafraid to wade into darkness and drag listeners through every jagged edge along the way.

With their signing to 1126 Records, Surfaced joins a roster known for championing heavy music that’s both uncompromising and emotionally charged. If “Wasted in Hatred” is the warning shot, the rest of the EP is shaping up to be an all-out assault. Pre-orders are available NOW!

Watch the video now, and mark your calendars for August 15. The pit is about to get deeper.
