Alt-rock local heroes Revelry have changed shape a few times over, only growing stronger after lineup switches. Now, LA-based vocalist Kailey takes the lead, showcasing strong vocals in their new single “Sweet Tooth (ft. Kellin Quinn)”. It’s addicting, catchy, and the perfect post-hardcore formula; but most of all, it’s indicative of Revelry’s perseverance and dedication to their craft.

Pre-Revelry, Kailey got her start performing at local institutions like the Viper Room, the Whisky, and Emo Nite. These nose-dives into live performances curated this fearless pro, one with the drive and skill it takes to make it.

“Sweet Tooth (ft. Kellin Quinn)” feels like “the one”— a song that could take Revelry from local hero to household name. Carefully articulated production places everyone’s strengths in the spotlight. Plus, it doesn’t sound like everything their peers have already done. Of course, it would do well on a lineup with similar bands, but it can exist comfortably on its own, the markings of long-term success. Kellin Quinn’s standout feature is the icing on the cake; his willingness to uplift local voices encourages continual community growth. Plus, his vocals always rip.

Revelry’s “Sweet Tooth” is a collaborative effort, one that shines a step above the rest. With this momentum, Revelry can take it all the way to the top…of alt 100 lists and Hot Topic’s band t-shirt wall.
