QUICKSAND ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM BRING ON THE PSYCHICS, SHARE TWO NEW SINGLES

New York City post-hardcore mainstays Quicksand have officially entered a new chapter, signing with Equal Vision Records and announcing their upcoming album Bring On The Psychics, set for release on July 17, 2026.

Alongside the announcement, the band has unveiled two new singles, “Get To It” and “Regenerate,” offering an early look at what this next phase sounds like. “Get To It” arrives with an accompanying music video, leaning into the band’s signature mix of urgency and control, while “Regenerate” pulls in a more expansive, layered approach.

The album marks a continuation of Quicksand’s long-standing ability to evolve without losing their identity. Comprised of Walter Schreifels, Sergio Vega, and Alan Cage, the trio has consistently pushed beyond the boundaries of post-hardcore since their early ’90s beginnings. Bring On The Psychics looks to bridge that foundation with the more experimental direction they’ve explored in recent years.

Produced and mixed by Jon Markson, known for his work with Drug Church and Drain, the record was completed over a focused 10-day stretch. That urgency carries into the material, with the new singles hinting at a sound that feels both immediate and deliberate. It’s not a reinvention for the sake of it, but a natural progression from a band that helped shape the genre in the first place.

The release also sets the stage for a run of upcoming appearances. The band will host a special conversation and signing event at Rough Trade in New York later this month, followed by a European tour in June. It’s a steady build into what’s shaping up to be a significant return.
