PRODUCER SINGER/SONGWRITER LHASA PETIK DEBUTS NEW LOW-FI POP TRACK "HERE AND GONE"
Singer/songwriter and low-fi pop star Lhasa Petik has come out of her bedroom with a new track that heavily lies on the fringes of pop titled “Here and Gone”. Accompanying it is a well-done edited music video that carries awesome silhouettes and raw lyrics that’ll keep you tuned for future projects in the indie electric scene.
Petik has already made a name for herself in the indie scene with past hit singles and being multifaceted in the music industry got her noticed by Ones To Watch, This Song Is Sick, and Acid Stag. She has gotten over 1 million streams to date and her new track will help carry those Doge numbers to the moon.
The song features many elements of lo-fi pop and calm emotional undertones with enveloping melodies connecting you with her in many dimensions. Although other writers say she’s got a “raspy”, “Husky” voice— I don’t know where they pulled that from, albeit I can tell you she has a beautiful voice overall; with amazing lyrics about fears, insecurities, and trying to enjoy the highs and the lows because life doesn’t last forever. “When I was writing ‘Here and Gone’, there was a point where all of my insecurities and fears were coming true. As someone who always needs change and excitement, routine is one of my biggest fears, but being stuck at home has forced me to sit with my thoughts. I’ve had to take a step back and appreciate life and relationships for what they are without all the crazy parties and traveling.” Says Petik.
Lhasa Petik has established her own soundscape in the industry and is already making huge electric soundwaves throughout portions of the world and people are noticing her style. Frankly, I want to see what else she’s got in store because she’s killing it out here, and don’t forget to check out “Here and Gone” out now. Enjoy!
