Pretty Rude have a delightfully catchy new slab of indie rock goodness ready to hijack your ears titled, “Call Me, Ishmael.” Their latest song and its accompanying music video showcase the band’s musical chops and playful nature simultaneously. The band’s thunderous rhythm section and distorted guitar riffs meet an insane harmonies quotient, which is reminiscent of old school, Blue Album era Weezer in all the best ways. The video for their new single finds the Pretty Rude fellas struggling to film a music video performance before being replaced by actors. At the same time, the band’s infectious songwriting skills will force audiences around the globe to struggle with not singing along at the top of their lungs.
