PLAY BADTALKERS NEW TRACK "I LIKE IT LOUD" FT. BENJAMIN CARTER LOUDER THAN YOU CAN
BADTALKERS' new single “I Like It Loud," featuring Benjamin Carter, has been playing, on repeat, super loud in my household. The artist’s rap metal sound mixed with alternative rock has me clicking the replay button, wanting to listen to it more and more. At first listen, the music gave me vibes of The Internet, NWA, Wu-Tang Clan, and Tyler the Creator. The wide range of sounds used in the song, like the guitar, drums, and synthesizer, make this song an LA anthem and sound.
BADTALKERS is super experimental with their sound and authentic to their sound and statement. Coming from Compton, BADTALKERS is a group of minorities finding their voice and sound in the city of Los Angeles. With lyrics talking about money, affirmation, and self-confidence, BADTALKERS has written a song we all want to sing along to and vibe with.
“I Like It Loud” approaches sensitive lyrics, talking about the reality of working a 9-5 in LA and how capitalism doesn't want us to eat or sleep but we keep trying to survive. The song does a great job of targeting its audience and building a connection with its listeners. The system is broken and this track is a sign of a change that needs to happen.
BADTALKERS are honest and draw inspiration from their everyday struggles and life in Los Angeles, they are giving themselves a voice, and we NEED to listen to it very, very, very LOUD.
