PARADISE VULTURES PREMIERE ELECTRIFYING NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR THEIR PSYCHEDELIC SINGLE “SISTER KENNEDY”
The dynamic duo Paradise Vultures is back with another heavy-hitter. Their dedication to rock n’ roll has traversed new territories in a new single titled “Sister Kennedy,” veering towards the eerie and psychedelic. Panic! At The Disco and Radiohead fans should rush to add “Sister Kennedy” to their playlists.
Today, the music video for the single dropped, and it’s just as wild as the accompanying song. Tommy Senter and Matty Barreca are not afraid to get weird with it, nor is their frequent collaborator, Ed Shiers.
The trio is a match made in heaven; this music video is perfectly zany yet straightforward in its scope. Fans of Paradise Vultures will be pleasantly surprised. This is the boldest endeavor we’ve seen from the group to date, but it perfectly articulates the direction they desire to go for their future.
Sonically, the guitar-heavy single has an interesting lead riff that gets into a heavier progression for the chorus. Senter’s vocals in the verses explore uncharted falsetto dynamics seen in groups like Fall Out Boy. These larger-than-life songs could eventually transform into stadium rock and roll.
However, the real magic is found within the bridge when a circusy, vaudevillian vibe takes over. This is also where the story begins to unfold.
“Sister Kennedy” unravels, exploring mental health at every possible high and low point. Paradise Vultures does a tasteful yet captivating job throughout the song, recognizing mental health as a part of life rather than a stigma. Bravo!
