NO NEW LOVERS DROPS KILLER INDIE POP JAM “TALK ABOUT IT”
Summer might be officially over, but No New Lovers keeps the good times rolling with their fiery new indie pop single, “Talk About It.” The track opens strong, with hypnotic synths and crazy infectious bass grooves. Somehow, the drums sound like both lockstep mechanization and wildly funky simultaneously. The vocals fit perfectly alongside the song’s synth/keyboard melodies and starkly contrast the brief but stellar moments of electric guitar sizzle. No New Lovers might shy away from accepting new romantic partners. Still, if they keep dropping world-class bangers like “Talk About It,” rock fiends across the globe had better hope they continue dropping new music for the foreseeable future.
