Rising indie/emo outfit Saturdays At Your Place are back with big news: their highly anticipated new album, These Things Happen, is officially set to drop on September 12.

Known for their emotionally raw lyrics and nostalgic, guitar-forward sound, the Michigan-based band has steadily built a reputation as one of the scene’s most promising acts — and this new record is shaping up to be their most ambitious effort yet.

To celebrate the announcement, the band has released a brand new single, “Waste Away”, out today on all streaming platforms. The track is a hazy, introspective slow-burn that gradually builds into an explosive, cathartic release — showcasing the band’s continued evolution in both songwriting and sonic layering.

"These Things Happen" follows their breakout EP Always Cloudy and years of steady buzz across DIY circuits and digital playlists. If “Waste Away” is any indication, fans can expect a deeply personal and emotionally expansive record that hits just as hard as it heals.

Mark your calendars for September 12, and in the meantime, stream “Waste Away” now wherever you get your music.
