NEW WAVE IS ALIVE AND WELL ON DARK PLAY'S LATEST EFFORT "KNUCKLES"
Listen and participate in a confession with indie, new wave group Dark Play’s new single" Knuckles". The guitar opens up to frontman Sergio A. Soto's vocal presentation with lyrics that poke at the mind like, "The trouble is/ I'm always feeling troubled/ I'll pass the time counting/ the wrinkles on your knuckles". His voice creates a sonic ground for synth player Maxwell McDonald. The lyrics are simple and direct but the emotion takes the cake. "'Knuckles' is a ballad of desperation, hopelessness, desire, and resignation", says the band.
