MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE ANNOUNCES ANNIVERSARY TOUR FOR GROUNDBREAKING ALBUM ‘THE BLACK PARADE’
Thank goodness, My Chemical Romance is back. Fans waited over a decade to return to The Black Parade, but it looks like it’s finally time. The New Jersey legends are gearing up to take on a stacked anniversary tour throughout North America to celebrate their magnum opus, the 2006 LP, ‘The Black Parade.’ This record is insanity; it features a Liza Minnelli sample, innuendos galore (“so why don’t you blow me…a kiss before she goes”), and unmatched craftsmanship. ‘The Black Parade’ shaped multiple generations of fans, forming a true cultural phenomenon.
Now, My Chemical Romance is teaming up with Devo (OMG?), Wallows, 100 Gecs, The Violent Femmes, Garbage, Death Cab For Cutie, Thursday, Alice Cooper, and Evanescence. Each tour date has a unique opener, so check yours to make sure your favorite opening act will be there.
My Chemical Romance performed ‘The Black Parade’ at When We Were Young Fest in Las Vegas this October. If those two performances indicated anything, this tour will be nothing short of life-changing.
Is My Chemical Romance coming to your city—to see a marching band?
