MULTI-TALENTED LUMINOUS KID RELEASES INTENSELY MOVING SINGLE "MOUNTAIN CRYSTALS"
Acclaimed Swedish photographer/visual artist Olof Grind has recently been named among The Line of Best Fit's 50 Artists On the Rise In 2021". Olof, a.k.a Luminous Kid, is currently best known for shooting 4x Grammy award nominee Phoebe Bridgers' "Punisher" album art. Amongst all of these talents, Grind is also an indie-folk musician.
In Grind's newest single, "Mountain Crystals", Bridgers' has a spoken word appearance. "Mountain Crystals" was written in Los Angeles after Grind was invited by Bridgers to a party at Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst's house. Each song is paired with a music video written and directed by Grind. For Luminous Kid, the mission is to create all-embracing multi-faceted works of queer art. "I think the more role models and queer experiences that exist in popular culture, the better", says Luminous Kid. "If a song or a work of art can make a sad and trapped young queer person feel better about themselves, and it is a step in the right direction". Mountain Crystals will give you a reason to love yourself, skip through life and share this wild, crazy, beautiful life with those you love.
