MOTHER NATURE SOUNDS JUST LIKE ASHTENN'S "PERSEPHONE"

WORDS BY JOCELYN MARTINEZ

Persephone was a Greek Goddess of spring, life, nature, and death itself. It is no wonder that after the five minutes of “Persephone”, we can hear the sounds of the underworld opening the gates to its listeners. Ashtenn’s beautiful melodic voice and musical choice of using sitar tones in her track transport her listeners back into Medieval times. Ashtenn has the ability to transport you into a world you want to stay in, a world of magic. The song itself makes you want to dance in the fields of Mother Nature or perhaps roam the halls of a magical castle. The lyrics are hypnotizing and it provides a meditative aura that allows the listener to simply close their eyes and listen to Ashtenn’s soothing voice and wonderfully inspired instrumental. If you believe in the magic of song, take a listen to “Persephone”. Mother Nature sounds just like “Persephone”
