MAJKEN RECLAIMS HER PERSONAL POWER ON “RE-ENTERING”

The Swedish DIY artist, harp player, guitarist, lo-fi queen, and producer Anna Bergvall, AKA Majken, is making some noise in an indie, dream, and alt-pop way with her latest track, “Re-Entering.”

Majken has been compared to Cate Le Bon, Fiona Apple, and PJ Harvey. Majken isn’t precisely an edgy innovator in the way those artists are. Though she does have a nice voice and somewhat of an expansive vocal range, it’s mostly not super pronounced in this single. The production is what reigns supreme, so to speak.
