LUNAR BIRD TALKS MOVING ON WITH NEW TRACK “THE THINGS WE USED TO”

Lunar Bird is gearing up for the release of a new EP later this year, offering a first glimpse with the new single “The Things We Used To.”

The track blends upbeat indie-pop energy with dreamy textures and shimmering guitar work, creating a sound that feels light on the surface but carries emotional weight underneath. Lyrically, it explores the end of a relationship without pointing fingers, focusing instead on moving forward while acknowledging the lasting imprint such a connection leaves.

“The Things We Used To” circles around that familiar feeling of being stuck in repetition. You still love the things you used to love, still hate the things you used to hate, but now everything carries a trace of someone who isn’t there anymore. Even the smallest moments feel different. There’s a quiet tension in accepting that both people will be okay, while still struggling to fully let go of what was.

It’s that push and pull that gives the song its core. There’s comfort in the familiarity, but also a lingering absence that never quite disappears. Lunar Bird captures that space in a way that feels honest and relatable without leaning too heavy in either direction.

“The Things We Used To” is available to stream now, with a new EP expected later in 2026.
