Eric Nizgretsky of Loose Buttons is such a big fan of Jon Hamm he wrote a likable rock/pop song about him. It gets better; Nizgretsky spotted him on the beach. His imagination went into overdrive (the perfect symbol of the ideal man) but quickly he came down to earth.

Clearly in awe, he had an idealized vision of the actor most well known for his portrayal of Don Draper of Mad Men. Yet here was Hamm on the beach wearing swim trunks behaving like any other mere mortal enjoying fun in the sun with family and playing games.

Musically, the song is carefree and fresh. Soft lullaby-esque guitars mesh with Nizgretsky’s silky smooth voice to transport the listener to a sand-filled oasis. If you’re aching for summer to return, this track will be your muse.
