The Australian indie-pop wizards in Little Guilt have a stunning new single called “Slow Burn” that is all but destined to melt your heart. As the title implies, this tune is a carefully crafted slow burn of a song. The first half switches back and forth between upbeat jamboree; complete with swinging bass grooves and jangling piano keys, and a fuzzed-out halftime dirge. Then, about 3/4s of the way into your sonic journey, Little Guilt fully transports you to an indie-pop wonderland. This crazy ethereal section with the most sublime vocals and angelic guitar tones you’ve ever heard literally feels like heaven.
