LGATP’s “HARD HEAD” RESTS ON A BED OF LUSH MELODIES DRIVEN BY AN UNDERCURRENT OF SHARP ELECTRONIC BEATS

The juxtaposition of genres including indie electronic and dream pop (heavier and soft sounding) make the latest track, “Hard Head” by Late Guest At The Party, a song that the listener inexplicably can’t get out of their “head.” The lyrical content is very sparse and bare bones about “finding someone who has the patience/tact to understand the difference between when you're only being stubborn and when your convictions are necessary.” The instrumentation is a standout feature of the single crafted by the alternative-electronic outfit, LGATP, which has a decidedly nostalgic feel yet is utterly modern.
